The Team

Impressum’s herd of word-nerds is led by our Managing Director, Publisher and Misfit Entrepreneur-enthusiast, Sheree Chambers. She has been the publishing manager for a tertiary education press for 10 years and has over 15 years’ industry experience. Sheree is also a self-published author so she knows the process from both sides of the table. Her favourite book is Pride and Prejudice (with or without zombies) and her favourite words include: perplexed, resplendent, and tenacity.

Emma Biddle is our Author Manager, joining the Impressum team with an impressive resume of experience in writing and publishing. An award-winning published author herself (under a pen name), Emma is also a PhD student in creative writing and a former high school English teacher. Needless to say, she loves books. Emma believes that writing is a reflection of the creativity that makes us human, and makes us thrive. Her favourite thing is to celebrate a new release with the finished product in one hand and a block of chocolate in the other. She has too many favourite books to list, but especially likes reading local Aussie authors and is a big fan of the Moriarty sisters Jaclyn, Liane and Nicola. Some favourite words include elixir, effervescent and perambulator (though her children are too old to be pushed around in one these days).
