Jot about your Jaunt
Now that every woman and her dog can document their travels on Instagram and Facebook, the new travel book is a different beast to ye olde travel compendiums. It’s less about the travel (we have the Lonely Planet and Google for that) and less about the photos (that’s what social media and coffee tables are for). Travel books are now about what you personally and uniquely bring to the (coffee) table. Did you fix the WiFi in Fiji? Only eat sausages in Strasbourg? Or maybe Fido is writing an Odyssey on Oslo? If you (or your dog) are ready to jot about your jaunt, then Write on!
